Our team members have extensive experience in the field of energy efficiency (15+ years) and have proven track record of completing high quality energy efficiency projects for both new and existing buildings across commercial, educational and residential sectors.

Our team members played a key role in the revision of NCC2019 and NCC2025 Section J, giving us unparalleled insight into the regulatory landscape and the latest best practices. We have published 20 peer reviewed papers in the field of HVAC and energy efficiency in buildings. These papers demonstrate the international calibre of our work in this field.

Policy Development

Award

In addition to simulations used in new building designs and policy development, we have a strong interest and expertise in calibrated simulation, a complex but powerful tool for accurately modelling the energy consumption of existing buildings to support refurbishment projects. Our team members have completed more than 10 calibrated simulation projects since 2010. In 2016, we accomplished an exceptional calibrated simulation project for an office building in Canberra, and a technical paper based on this work received the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) W.R. Ahern Award in 2018.
